ARRL in-person testing is going to return to a more normal test session on July 18th. Pre-registration will not be required although I would still like to have a idea as to who and how many folks are going to test. All 3 levels and walk ins are welcome. Only remaining requirement will be everyone will be required to wear a mask while in the building. Test fee is still $15. The much talked about $35 FCC fee has not gone into effect yet. Cash or check made out to the ARRL only. If you are taking the test for the first time you must go to the FCC website and request a FRN number which you must use on your paperwork. You must supply a e-mail address on the forms as well. Testing will be held at the Boy Scout Office (8478 W Gage Blvd, Kennewick)across Gage Blvd from COSTCO Kennewick WA. Doors will open at 12 noon and will be locked at 1 PM. Bring your money, mask, own pen and pencils. Calculator if needed. You can not use your cell phone for the test. If you are upgrading you must bring a copy of your existing license that must be sent in with the rest of your paper work. Any questions ask. Call 509-783-6236.
