If you are a new HAM and you want to try HF, there is a 10 meter net getting started. I am passing this along because Tecnicians can participate on 10 Meters. If you are a seasoned ham you may find it fun to communicate on 10 meters.

So the Grande Ronde Radio Amateurs are now putting on a 10m net. Currently it is on 28.400 USB. I'm still trying to make sure that we are not interfering with any other nets that might be taking place. We start at 5:30pm every Thursday. The net isn't very formal, heck I haven't even made up a preamble yet. Anyway the purpose of the net is to get Technicians to give HF a try and hopefully encourage them to get their General.
