144.97 WWU/College Place Gateway WA7V-10
1. Access using Handshake mode, direct from throughout WW Valley
2. From more distant locations (especially to the west) access by:
Keyboard mode, type/select WA7V-7 in “connect to” line, click green button
Once connected to WA7V-7, use lower screen to type C WA7V-10 (space between “C” and “WA7V-10) then hit “enter” button on computer keyboard.
As soon as connection made with WA7V-10, switch to Handshake mode to pass traffic
145.01 Jeff’s Walla Walla Gateway AL1Q-10
1. Access direct from throughout WW Valley using Handshake mode, in “connect to” line, type or select AL1Q-10, click green button
2. If using low power and/or from poor access area, access via Handshake mode, using digi-peater.
a.) In “connect to” line, type or select AL1Q-10 v AL1Q-7 (don’t have to type “via” or “v”, but easier to see than a space between the two callsign groups)
b.) Remain in Handshake mode, and click green button
145.01 Spokane area Gateways:
1. In KEYBOARD mode, Access WR7VHF-3 node by typing or selecting “WR7VHF-3 v AL1Q-7” in “connect to” (not necessary to type “via” or “v”, but easier to see than a space between the two callsign groups)
2. Once connected to WR7VHF-3 node, do one of the following to connect to various gateways:
a.) For W7GBU-10 gateway, in lower screen, type C W7GBU-10 (space between “C” and “W7GBU-10) and press “enter” on computer keyboard. Once connected, switch to HANDSHAKE mode to pass traffic.
b.) For WR7VHF-10 gateway, in lower screen, type EITHER WR7VHF-2, OR WR7VHF-4, and press “enter” on computer keyboard. Once connected to THAT node, in lower screen, type C WR7VHF-10.
Once connected to WR7VHF-10 gateway, switch to Handshake mode to pass traffic.
145.01 Pullman gateway K7LL-10
1. In Keyboard mode, type or select ”WR7VHF-3 v AL1Q-7”, and click green button
2. Once connected to WR7VHF-3 node, in lower screen, type K7LL-10, and press “enter” on computer keyboard
3. Once connected to K7LL-10, switch to handshake mode to pass traffic
145.53 North/Central Washington Gateways:
For NC7C-10 Ellensburg:
1. In Keyboard mode, type or select N7HHU-8 in “connect to” line, and click green button
2. Once connected to N7HHU-8 node, in lower screen, type C NC7C-10 (space after “C”) and press “enter” on computer keyboard
3. Once connected to NC7C-10, switch to Handshake mode to pass traffic
For WB7WSP-10 Ephrata:
1. In Keyboard mode, type or select N7HHU-8 in “connect to” line, click green button
2. Once connected to N7HHU-8 node, in lower screen, type C WB7WSP-7 (space after “C”) and press “enter” on computer keyboard
3. Once connected to WB7WSP-7 node, in lower screen, type C WB7WSP-10 (space after “C”) and press “enter” on computer keyboard
4. Once connected to WB7WSP-10, switch to Handshake mode to pass traffic
* It is theoretically possible to use other routes and gateways as well, however from my location, I can’t get a solid enough connection to WA7V-7 to branch off from there, and I don’t have an adequate antenna and elevation to reach Hermiston or Pendleton gateways direct.
