Icy road can't keep club members away

Icy roads and snow couldn’t keep members of the Tri-Cities Amateur Radio Club from meeting. The end of the year is a good time to take a look at what we accomplished this year and make plans for what we want to accomplish in the coming year.
The antennas were replaced at the club station. The 300 ft loop antenna was replaced and so was the vertical antenna. New coax feed line was installed. We operated a morning social net 7 days a week. We had many demonstrations at club meetings. We participated in Jamboree on the Air and a special events station for the Columbia Cup Hydroplane races.
Going forward, we are going to set up hybrid meetings that are in person and on zoom so more people can participate. There are 240 ham radio operators in the Tri-Cities area and an updated list is being prepared so that ham related information can be easily shared with and between hams.
Stay tuned. Richard KI7OOM
