Long time Richland amateur radio operator and Tri-Cities Amateur Radio Club member WB7DTO James C. Langford passed away early this morning in the hospital in Spokane. He had been transported over the weekend due to health issues. Jim was 96 years old. Jim and both his sons received their amateur radio licenses at same time back in the 1970, with their calls grouped together- WB7DTM, WB7DTN and WB7DTO. Jim held a General class license. They were active in the Tri-Cities Amateur Radio Club for a long time. I worked on different projects with Jim out at Hanford. His son Dave WB7DTM let me know this morning. Dave lives in Richland and will keep me posted as to any kind of services which will be held in Richland.
