Trying to see who all are going to help with this years Scouting Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) event on Oct. 21st. What I need is who all are going to be able to help out with this years event. This will be my 29th year putting on this event for the Blue Mountain Council Boy Scouts and the Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho Girl Scouts. This will be the 60th year that this event has been the 3rd weekend in Oct. Sponsored by World Scouting and Ham Radio the world over. I need to know who can help out.
This is what would like to have:
- Operating Stations for 2 Meters FM and also maybe DMR or other 2 meter Digital modes
- HF SSB
-HF Digital

Who can bring set up and act as Control ops for the day? As in the past we will set up in the Basement of the Boy Scout Office in Kennewick. Let me know what all equipment you are willing to bring and set up. Antennas will be set up out side in the parking lot. We will need enough coax to run 50-100 feet. I am looking at setting up everything except the antennas Friday around 4 PM. I know some of you still work but who ever can help with set up would be great. Antennas will be put up and final prep on Sat. around 6:30 AM Event hours on Saturday will be from 8 AM -5 PM.

I know some of you can not make it but I need to know for sure. Also remember you may be asked the same questions a dozen time during the day. We are registered for this event through World Scouting, under my name and call sign. All contacts will be under my call sign. This event is open to all youth so if you know of any young people let them know.
