The next meeting of the TRI-CITIES AMATEUR RADIO CLUB (TCARC) will be on Monday, JUNE 5th, 2023.
The meeting will start at 7pm local time and is held at the Kennewick Red Cross Office, 7202 W. Deschutes Ave. Enter through the metal side door of the building to the left (south) of the main entrance.

The club meeting is open to anyone who has an interest in HAM Radio. If you are curious about HAM RADIO or maybe you have a call sign that needs dusting off, you are always welcome here.

At 7pm, we will start with a presentation on “Squelch Tones”. We will talk about why there are so many different tone options, their purpose and function and if you have a newer Yaesu radio, you will even learn about a very special function of those radios.

Following the presentation, we will have the business part of the club meeting.

We are operating a MORNING NET pretty much seven days a week. We usually key up around 7:30 AM local time and run for 30 minutes and often a bit longer. This is a social meeting and we are chewing on all kinds of rags as well as on ham related topics. You can find us on the 146.640 MHz repeater, which uses a standard NEGATIVE offset and a TONE of 100 Hz. All you need is a legally obtained HAM license and a good sense of humor.
