The Tri-Cities Amateur Radio Club (TCARC) is having two very important meetings. These meetings will determine the leadership and direction of the club for the next year. If you are a member of the TCARC or have been a member in the past, you are encouraged to attend. The meetings are on Nov 6th and Dec 4th at 7 PM.

If you don't know about the club, we have a club station at the Red Cross office with two HF radios and a vhf radio. We operate several vhf/uhf repeaters in the region. There is a daily morning net on 146.64 mhz W7AZ at 7:30 AM. The topics are wide ranging and interesting.

Several members of the club will be leaving and will be greatly missed. That opens the
opportunity for others to participate. It is important that we elect club officers that will take an active role.

We will be taking nominations for officers at the November 6th meeting and talk about the duties of the officers. Nominations from the floor will be taken at the December 4th meeting as well. Elections will be held during the December 4th meeting. If you are interested in any of these positions or would like to nominate someone else for one of
these positions, please send me an email and I will add you to the list of nominees.
