There is only one node that constitutes the "Front Page". That is the Welcome To Tri-City Amateur Radio Club.... page. Everything below that top section is just other content stored in a variety of locations. It can be a caendar event, Information Section topic, Forum Topic, even a classified Ad.

So how do you get "worthy" content "promoted" to the front page? You put the content in Edit mode, at the bottom will be publishing options. One of those options is "Promote To Frontpage". Save it, and it is there.

We need to be careful what is worthy. It can ge junky quickly, and worthy content can be pushed down out of sight by unworthy stuff. Most recent rises to the top!!

Theoretically, only "Content Managers" and Forum Moderators roles have access to the Promote capability. We need to test that to be sure.

Also, you can clean house of course and remove the Promote attribute. Also, you can totally unpublish (not delete) any content. Unpublish just makes it invisible anywhere, but doesn't take it out of the database.
