This site is devoted to providing a forum for helping the club members, as well as anyone interested in amateur radio, receive the assistance needed to get the most enjoyment out of the many facets of amateur radio. The Tri-City Amateur radio club serves ham radio operators in southeast Washington state including the cities of Pasco, Kennewick, Richland; Benton and Franklin Counties and the surrounding towns. Club members with the proper permission can create, edit and publish the content using the tools of the website and without a webmaster middleman. Registered non-members may post new forum topics and comments. Anonymous (non-registered) users may view most site content, but may not post information

Regular Club and Business Meetings start at 7:30 pm and are held at the Red Cross Building, 7202 W Deschutes Ave, Kennewick.

Top Menu Button "Information"-- contains the bulk of information on what's happening with Tri-City Amateur Radio Club, including area repeaters and packet nodes. It has special announcements, the President's Corner, meeting minutes, events schedule, event reports, and a variety of articles about amateur radio subjects.

Although you can view most of the Tri-City Amateur Radio Club website as an anonymous viewer (no login required), the site is intended to be interactive, which will require your registration and login. REGISTRATION IS EASY. Registration is required to participate in forums, make comments, upload photos to share or utilize any of the many features. Note: Due to recent upswing in website attacks by foreign entities using Yahoo mail addresses, we are forced to automatically block new accounts with Yahoo mail addresses. If you must use a Yahoo email account, please send an email to admin@w7az.org and a exception rule for your specific account will be added.

• You register yourself. NO ADMINISTRATOR IS REQUIRED. You do not need to be a TCARC member to register and participate in this website.
• Click on 'Create Account' from the left sidebar menu to register.
• It is best if you use your name (first and last works well) as your username, although it is not required. Spaces in the username are OK. Actual paid-up club members get extra system privileges, but we need to be able to identify you.
• To keep organized crime-owned automated spam-bots from taking over the site, we use a challenge-response module called 'CAPTCHA' during the registration process. You likely have seen it in other professional sites. Squiggly graphic letters are displayed, and you must type back what you see. Machine spam-bots can't read the graphics, only humans, so these 'bots can't easily create an account and fill the site with male enhancement ads. We are using the latest CAPTCHA technology, so if you can't read the letters, click the 'play audio' link and it will speak the letters for you to enter.
• We need your email address so we can send important club announcements and so you can subscribe to certain posts or items of interest. If you subscribe to an post, an alert email will be sent to you if the post is updated or someone else comments on the thread. YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS NEVER SHARED.
